Each piece is created from fragments gathered along the shoreline—elements shaped by the sea and returned over time. From a studio by the water’s edge, these materials are transformed through kiln-firing into quietly luminous works of glass.

Rooted in a tradition dating back to Roman times, fused glass remains an art of precision and restraint. Heat, timing, and material come together to produce forms that are both enduring and singular.

No outcome is ever entirely predetermined. Each firing reveals a piece that cannot be repeated—defined by subtle variation, and made to be one of a kind.

Fused Glass Plaques

Moments are captured in fused glass—preserved in light and form, with a permanence that will not fade. Each piece reveals a depth and texture that cannot be replicated in print.

Every plaque is individually handcrafted, layers of glass kiln-formed at high temperatures to create a singular, luminous composition. No two are ever exactly alike.

Glass Studio | West Sussex

Nestled on the beach in West Sussex, my studio is inspired by the ever-changing coastline. Every tide brings something new, and the sea is at the heart of everything I create.

Whether I’m beachcombing on warm summer days or walking the shore after winter storms with my dogs, I’m always searching for driftwood and sea-worn treasures that have been shaped by the waves. Along the way, I also collect discarded plastics, fishing nets and other marine debris, doing my small part to help ensure they don’t make their way back into the sea.

These reclaimed materials are combined with handcrafted glass to create sustainable, one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate the beauty of our coastline while respecting the natural world. Each creation has its own story, shaped by the sea, the weather and the materials it leaves behind.
